Explosions at crematoria linked to angina treatment

During the last few weeks there have been a small number of explosions at crematoria in the UK . It has been suggested that the cause might be the presence of a GTN Skin Patch present on the deceased.   GTN – Glyceryl Trinitrate – in the form of skin patches, is a treatment used to treat Chronic Angina and is derived from TNT, though the amount is very small. During the recent AGM, held at the Waldorf Hilton Hotel on 14th April 2016, certificates and prizes were presented to students successful in the Certificate in Funeral Arranging & Administration examinations of December 2015.   Particular congratulations to Carol Coyte Lawrence of Harold Wood Funeral Services on winning the President’s Award for the highest mark in the exam. Saturday 27th February saw over 200 members and guests enjoy a very successful Ball at the Lancaster London Hotel. Curiosity about the sparkling new venue created an early buzz (and some sneaky peeks during the afternoon).
